Social Work Students Making an Impact on the Lives of Oregon Migrant Workers

This week, the Oregonian featured a story on the Migrant Worker Health Outreach Program. The research project combines PSU social work students, medical professionals from the Universidad de Puebla and Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center to research the medical history and chronic illnesses and pains of migrant workers. The students are also helping teach basic health skills to the workers and their children.
