Outstanding teachers in liberal arts and sciences honored in PSU awards ceremony

Outstanding Teacher Awards in Portland State's College of Arts and Sciences were received by more than 25 faculty members Friday in an end-of-the-year ceremony and reception on campus.

The awards were started 13 years ago by Scott Burns, chair of the Geology Department, and students nominate and select the winners for each department every year. This year's winners are:
