Following a poor showing during the women's amateur, Lauren Taylor of Nelson picked up her socks to make the cut at the 2010 B.C. Junior Girl's Golf Championship at the Gorge Vale Golf Club in Victoria.

Taylor, who recently accepted a NCAA Division One Women's scholarship to Portland State University, carded a third round 83 to sit in 23rd spot in the field.

Amanda Baker of Nanaimo leads Jennifer Yang of Port Coquitlam by one shot heading into today's final round of play.

A. Ram Choi is third, two shots behind Baker.

Taylor opened the 72-hole tournament Tuesday firing a round of 78.

The Granite Pointe player, who missed the cut during the women's championship, followed that score with an identical 78 Wednesday.
