What:
Portlanders spend several months of the year carrying umbrellas and wearing raincoats and rubber boots. Rain shapes the landscape and the city of Portland. The PSU Library and the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services is proud to present “Landscapes for Rain: The Art of Stormwater,” an exhibit illustrating how artists, architects, landscape architects and designers use rain as the guiding element in their work. Now on display, the traveling exhibit showcases stormwater as a resource and illustrates opportunities to integrate it with art, landscape and architecture in ways that bring nature back to Portland.
