What:
Jim Lucas, acclaimed actor and advocate for social change, will perform dramatic renditions of speeches by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a one-man show titled "Reflections." Lucas' performance is a community-wide event celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. King and is sponsored by Portland State University and Oregon Public Broadcasting.
Note: Jim Lucas will also host an interactive performance with Portland State students earlier in the day. In "Keeper of the Dream," students will ask provocative questions of "What Would Martin Do?," with Lucas answering as Martin Luther King, Jr. The performance begins at 12:30 p.m. in the PSU Multicultural Center, Smith Memorial Student Union, room 228 (1825 SW Broadway).
