The second annual international conference on Business and Sustainability, held October 15-17, brought together leading industry practitioners and scholars to share best practices and leading edge research.

One-hundred and fifty people attended a variety of keynote addresses, industry panels, and academic paper presentations focusing on this year’s theme, "Designing Sustainability."

“This event moved forward the practice, research and teaching of sustainability-inspired business,” said Scott Marshall, director of the Center for Global Leadership in Sustainability and conference organizer. “A tremendous line-up of keynote speakers, business leaders and academic scholars challenged and, at times, provoked, us to think creatively about how to solve pressing environmental and social issues through markets.”
