Jessica McElfresh has worked as a journalist specializing in environmental issues of the Northwest. During the summer of 2008, she traveled to West Africa to work as a reporter on sustainability and women's issues in Ghana. Shortly after, she moved to Spain for the year to the island of Mallorca where she taught English to kids ranging in age from three to twelve. Now, she makes her home in NW Portland and enjoys sewing, snowboarding, speaking Spanish and reading.
