Newly formed mixed choir looking for a pianist to accompany our ensemble. Shouldn't be a huge time commitment, with rehearsals probably about once a month (maybe twice a month). Pianist Needed: To provide piano (possibly organ) accompaniment for a 9 AM and 11 AM worship service each Sunday at Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) of Portland. Skill playing a wide range of musical styles is necessary -- from traditional hymns to contemporary Christian and secular music. Duties include accompanying choir, praise band, congregational singing, and special soloists/ensembles, as well as performing occasional featured piano solos. Average of 8-10 hours per week.
