Each TESL Certificate course must be completed with a grade of C or above.

No credit for C-minus grades.

Course taken using the Pass/No-Pass grading option cannot be used to fulfill TESL Certificate requirements.

• If a student receives a grade of C-minus or below in a required TESL Certificate course, he/she must re-take the course until a grade of C or above has been earned.
• If the course provides elective credit in the TESL Certificate program, the student may choose to take a different elective class in order to earn the elective credit.

If a student retakes a course because of a low grade,

• both the old grade and the new grade will appear on the student's PSU transcript
• both grades are calculated in the student's total Grade Point Average.
