Minor in International Studies
Requirements:
To earn a minor in international studies a student must:
- Demonstrate competence in an appropriate foreign language either by completing the second year of the language in the final term or by passing a departmentally administered proficiency exam at the same level; and
- Complete 31 credits (8 of which must be taken in residence at PSU and 11 credits of which must be upper division) to include the following:
International Studies - 15 credits required

Connected Learning and/or Regional Focus - 16 credits required
16 credits from adviser-approved area-specific or thematic courses
Total hours: 31 hours
Courses taken under the undifferentiated grading option (pass/no pass) will not be accepted toward fulfilling department minor requirements.
