SIGN UP FOR UNIVERSITY HOUSING!
- Contracts for NEW 2008-2009 University Housing residents are now available online
The Portland State University Housing contract is a legally binding agreement; please be sure to download and review both the Terms & Conditions and the Rate Chart before submitting your contract! For more information, you can also check our FAQS.
Once you have decided that University Housing is for you, simply click on the link below to submit your contract. When you submit your contract online, you will be required to use a credit card to pay a $50 non-refundable contract processing fee and a $150 advance payment.
Important Information about Online Payments:
Please do not click the ‘submit’ button more than once when completing
your online payment. If a browser error occurs, and you are required to
log-in again to the Portal, please DO NOT log back to complete the payment. You may be accidentally double charged if you do this.
Instead, contact the University Housing Office immediately to check the status of your payment, and signed contract. You may call us at (503)-725-4375 or e-mail at housing@pdx.edu.
If you do not have a credit card send a request for a paper contract to housing@pdx.edu. In the subject line of your email, please include the term and year you wish to move in for (Fall 08, Winter 08, Spring 09, Summer 09) and "Paper Contract Request." For example, "Fall Paper Contract Request." If you have further inquiries or requests, please send a separate email; the paper contract response is automatic and your requests may not be seen. University Housing assignments are made based on the date of contract
receipt and space availability, so it is recommended you submit your
contract as soon as you can. While we do our best to meet your
requests, the contract is for a space in University Housing and not for
a particular room or type of housing. By signing the contract, you
agree to accept your residence assignment and understand that the
assignment may change. Please see the University Housing website home page for more information regarding availability.Click Here to Submit your University Housing Online Contract

CURRENT UNIVERSITY HOUSING RESIDENTS
A Room Change Request Freeze is currently in effect. The RCR Freeze started May 1, 2008 and will end the second week of Fall term 2008. During the RCR Freeze, only emergency room changes, roommate additions and roommate swaps will be allowed. During Summer term 2008 Room Change Requests may be accepted on a conditional basis.
Room Change Request (RCR) forms are available in the University Housing Office and your area front desks. Each RCR requires an approval signature from either your Area Coordinator or Hall Director. Return the completed RCR to the University Housing Office. RCR offers are sent every Thursday to the email address you have provided to University Housing.
There is a Room Freeze the first and last two weeks of every term, during which time only emergency moves will be accommodated.
