If you're a smoker, through good times and bad times, cigarettes have always been with you.  They've been your friend, helping you to relax during times of stress, helping you stay on task when the project deadline is looming, maybe even helping you socialize and meet new people.  Smoking, in many ways, has probably been a consistant part of your life.
