Big News: PSU Prepares to Break Ground on the Northwest Center for Engineering, Science and Technology
Thanks to the generosity and vision of many, including James F. Miller, Dr. Gordon Moore, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Oregon Legislature and delegation, the University is set to break ground on the Northwest Center for Engineering, Science and Technology this spring.
The Center will create 50 new teaching and research laboratories that will enhance the University's research capabilities and increase collaboration with the region's expanding high-tech community. The Center is also a physical reflection of the growth that PSU has experienced in its student populationthe University is well on its way to doubling the number of engineering graduates before the deadline established by the Oregon Legislature.
