Campaign a success
Portland State University's first comprehensive fund-raising campaign has concluded at $114 million--nearly $24 million over the University's original goal. Through the campaign, 272 new accounts benefiting students in fields of study across campus were established. It also is supporting 475 new and existing programs that link students, faculty, and program to the community. Some of the campaign's most visible initiatives led to construction of new buildings on campus, including the Native American Student and Community Center and the Northwest Center for Engineering, Science and Technology [pictured above].
