Join us as Tag, We’re It takes inspiration from the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art's Labor of Love exhibit and makes visible the invisible.

Historian Patricia Schechter, geographer Pronoy Rai and scholar-activist Molly Benitez will take us on a journey of their work and scholarship on labor: the seen, the unseen, and what it does to us:

  • Becoming Your Labor | Molly Benitez, Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
  • What's Informal about Labor? COVID-19 and Structural Vulnerabilities | Pronoy Rai, Geography
  • Claiming Place: Pueblonuevo del Terrible | Patricia Schechter, History

We invite you to visit the exhibit before joining us for the talks. The JSMA at PSU is open Tuesdays from 11AM-5PM.

Light snacks and sweet treats will be served.

Our Tag, We’re It series brings together researchers from different disciplines to share their unique perspectives on a topic.
