What is CAPTCHA?
A CAPTCHA is a program that protects websites—especially web forms where users submit requested data to the site—against spam bots. The program consists of a test—usually distorted text—to determine whether a user is human or a computer program.
Portland State uses a CAPTCHA program called reCAPTCHA to protect Drupal website contact forms.
