Profile

While raising four children, Tammy returned to school for her post secondary education here at PSU.  While attending school, she worked as a student for three years in the School of Fine and Performing Arts, Dean's office getting her first real taste of working directly with the fiscal officer and assisting with the budgeting responsibilities in a university setting.  Upon graduation, Tammy set out to find a career here at Portland State to match her passion for working with numbers and people.  She graduated in June 2009 and joined the School of Education in August of the same year.   In February 2010, she transitioned to the Office of Finance and Administration and within a year joined the University Budget office.

Tammy's passion for efficiency, growth and continous improvement is very strong and she is an active member of the Process Improvement Committee where the goal is to better our policies and procedures at a campus wide level.  Outside of work, Tammy can be found in the kitchen either cooking or baking up a sweet treat for you to eat.  Most importantly, she enjoys spending as much time as possible hanging out with her four amazing kids.
