Dan has worked at PSU since 2000 and spent seven years managing the Transportation and Parking department and four as an Associate Director of Auxiliary Services and the university’s transportation planner. After being the go-to person for campus parking issues, as the Director for Planning, Sustainability & Real Estate, Dan Zalkow now oversees a department that was created in July 2011 to manage campus planning efforts, the campus sustainability office, commercial leases and spaces and real estate development. 

Dan earned a master's degree in urban and regional planning and a graduate certificate in real estate development from PSU and a bachelor's degree in psychology and statistics from the University of Georgia.
