Feb. 15 OIRP provides the Secretary to the Faculty with the “raw” list of current year full-time faculty, including random ID numbers.

Feb. 21 Verification of Faculty Status memorandums mailed to Academic Deans, and Vice Presidents

Mar. 1 Deadline (1st Mon in March, V.,1.,2.,1) : Faculty Verification Memos returned

Mar. 14 Steering Committee ratifies Divisional Representation as provided by the Secretary to the Faculty (2nd Monday of the month)

Mar. 14 OIRP mails Eligible to Serve scantron forms to Certified Faculty except Ex officio.

Mar. 14-28 OIRP mails Faculty Committee Preference Survey scantron forms to Certified Faculty except Ex officio.

Mar 21 Deadline: Decline to Serve form due at OIRP

Mar 22 Deadline: Faculty Committee Preference Survey due at OIRP

Mar 31 Decline to Serve results forwarded to Secretary to the Faculty (1st day of Spring term)

Mar 31 or 4/9 Faculty Committee Preference Survey results forwarded to Sec to the Faculty (1st week of Spring term)

Apr. 1 Election Nomination Forms mailed (by division) by to Secretary to the Faculty

Apr. 14 Election Nomination Forms due to OIRP

Apr. 21 OIRP tallies/checks Nominations and forwards tallies to the Secretary to the Faculty

Apr. 23 Election Ballot #1 Mailed by the Secretary to the Faculty (“Last Monday in April,” V., 2.,3)

May 7 Election Ballot #1 Due to OIRP

May 14 Tallies to Secretary to the Faculty before Steering Comm. Mtg. (1500 2nd Monday)

May 14 Election results, including AC & IFS, to Faculty Governance Web page and if Runoff Election, Ballot #2 Mailed

           New Senators added to Senate mail and email lists.

May 24 Runoff Election Ballot (#2) Due to OIRP

May 28 OIRP Tally of Runoff Elections (Ballot #2) to Secretary to the Faculty

           Additional new Senators notified and requested to attend June Senate meeting.
