Wedge Vision Professors

The Wedge Vision Professorships were formed to acknowledge mid-career tenured faculty who are making significant efforts to advance the Maseeh College’s strategic vision, from teaching to research and promotion of Maseeh College core values. Recipients receive discretionary funds for two years to continue their efforts.

The Wedge Vision Professorships are made possible by the generosity of David Wedge, an alumnus of Portland State University who obtained a bachelor’s in Applied Science in 1969. An apartment manager and a lawyer by training, having earned a law degree from Lewis and Clark, David Wedge had a passion for engineering and this is reflected in the David E. Wedge trust gift to the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science.
