Rosalyn McKeown, PhD, is an associate professor in the Graduate School of Education at Portland State University, and executive director of the Portland International Initiative for Leadership in Ecology, Culture, and Learning. She received her doctoral degree in geography from the University of Oregon and a master's degree in Teacher Education from the University of Tennessee. Dr. McKeown's current research focuses on creating a conceptual framework for education for sustainable development in both the formal and non-formal sectors of the education community. She has also researched assessing environmental literacy of undergraduate students.
