Faculty Reserve Materials
Information for Faculty
If you are a faculty member who has an item to place on reserve in the MISL, please bring it to the lab at least a week before students will start checking them out. You will be asked to fill out a reserve slip for each item. Items that have been on reserve in the past should already have a slip with them. If they do not, or the information on the slip has changed significantly, please fill out a new one.
Critical information:
May we add labels and detection stickers?
How long may students keep the item?
May they take it out of the lab?
All reserve items will be returned at the end of the term unless other arrangements are made ahead of time. The length of time a reserve item may be loaned to a student, and where they can take that item is determined by the faculty member who placed it on reserve in the MISL.
Information for Students
Faculty Reserve Materials are housed in the cupboards behind the MISL Staff Desk. In general, they are arranged according to the last name of your instructor. Please ask lab staff to find these materials for you when you need them. The length of time they may be used, and restrictions on whether or not they can leave the lab are at the discretion of the individual faculty member.
Samples of Doctoral Program papers can be found in the gray file cabinet below the stairs. They are for lab use only.
