Early Childhood Programs

Whether you are on your way to becoming a teacher, social worker, counselor, childcare provider, or any other profession working with young children, the College of Education has a program for you. Our Curriculum and Instruction and Special Education departments offer certificates and master’s degrees that teach you to excel in working with children from birth to age 8.

An interdisciplinary program focused on inclusive education for young children, birth through age 8, and their families. Engage in early childhood courses reflecting an inquiry-based, constructivist approach to teaching and learning, framed by the pursuit of equity.

Early Intervention Special Education

Become a licensed early intervention/special education teacher and obtain a master's degree through our fully online program. Work with young children with special needs and their families. Help build a solid foundation for primary, secondary, and university education.

Infant/Toddler Mental Health

Designed for service providers who work with families with children age prenatal to 3 years old, the ITMH program is taught by faculty from the fields of psychology, special education, and counseling and highlights the most current research and interventions throughout ITMH coursework.
