Graduate Assistant (GA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) positions are awarded by departments throughout the university. In the Graduate School of Education, it is the Department Chairpersons who receive GA and TA applications. EPFA Department LECL Graduate Assistant
.30 FTE (tuition remission + stipend)
This position provides support for the Leadership in Ecology, Culture and Learning (LECL) program of the EPFA Department in the Graduate School of Education (12-15 hours per week).
Job Description: Primary duties for the position include working with the LECL program coordinator to document programmatic activities, assist with research, and write text for print and virtual environments. Research and clerical duties may include literature searches, developing reports including tables and graphs, proof reading manuscripts, word processing, photocopying, filing, correspondence, etc.
Supervisor: Dr. Rosalyn McKeown, LECL Coordinator.
Qualifications: Graduate Student in a PSU program (student must carry 9 credits per term). The ideal candidate will have superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and EXCEL are required. We seek an individual who wants to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and who is also self-motivated to work independently. We also seek someone who can work on several projects at once attending to the ebb and flow of project demands.
