The PSU Student Ambassadors act as representatives of the University and the student body with visiting speakers, educators, and dignitaries, conducting campus tours, acting as liasons between students, faculty, and administrators, performing volunteer community work, and serving as hosts and hostesses at official functions and VIP events.

When Ambassadors attend University events, they are able to bring in an element of "student perspective" that may otherwise be lacking. Ambassadors have also served on boards and committees within the University and in the local community. The benefits to the Ambassadors come in the form of building leadership skills, networking, refining communication skills, and attending exciting events and lectures.
