PSU Dental Clinic Expanded
Author: Health and Counseling Staff
Posted: July 2, 2007

Students may be happy to learn that in addition to receiving health and counseling services at the on campus health center, those eligible can also receive dental treatment at the PSU Dental Clinic. This year, due to the heavy demand expressed by students we have more than doubled the size of our clinic. We have also added staff, allowing us to provide more treatment to more students. Located on the third floor of the University Center Building, our newly remodeled clinic has lovely views of the west hills and the tram as it travels to and from the waterfront.

We provide a full array of services, including teeth cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canals and crowns. All treatment is done by certified, experienced providers with your comfort in mind. Although there is no student dental insurance plan, our fees are greatly reduced compared to those of a private dental clinic. The majority of our fees can be billed to your student account and paid in the same way as your tuition. However, a few service items must be made in a lab and therefore require advance payment. Upon completion of an initial visit, we will forumlate a treatment plan for you which lists both future treatment needs and their estimated cost so you can be fully prepared for your next visit. Our friendly staff is happy to answer any questions you may have about treatment or fees.

The clinic is open year round, Monday through Saturday, to eligible PSU students. For more information, or to schedule an appointment, please call (503) 725-2611 or come by our office on the third floor of the University Center Building in Suite 309. If you are interested in touring our beautiful new clinic and getting to know some of our staff, we are holding a catered open house on July 26th from 2-6pm which is open to all PSU students and staff. Come by to get your questions answered and a free toothbrush!
