Latinos lag far behind white, says a report by PSU and Coalition of Communities of Color
Latinos in Multnomah County experience markedly lower levels of income and educational attainment than whites, and in several areas, lower levels than their Latino counterparts in other parts of the United States, according to a new research report from the Coalition of Communities of Color and Portland State University (PSU). PSU Diversity Action Council Awards Mini Grants to Foster Diversity
April 29, 2011 - Portland State University's Diversity Action Council (DAC) has awarded seven "mini-grants" totaling $7,000 for faculty and staff projects that advance diversity at PSU. The awardees will be honored and will discuss their projects at a campus forum Wednesday, May 18, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Multicultural Center, Smith Memorial Student Union room 238. Read more
