Inclusive & Culturally Responsive Curriculum and Pedagogy Workshops

Are you familiar with the movement for inclusive and culturally responsive curriculum and pedagogy, yet unsure of what this really means, how to get started, or whom to consult? Global Diversity & Inclusion, in partnership with University Studies, and the School of Gender, Race, and Nations, has assembled a team of your faculty colleagues who created two workshops designed to facilitate exploration and practical application of these concepts. Whether you are revamping a current course, creating a new course, or seeking to strengthen your classroom environment regardless of the content, these workshops will provide strategies for moving forward in ways that recognize and respect the diversity of our student body.

Workshop I:

Embracing Equity as Our Lens / Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy

Workshop II:

Uncovering the Hidden Curriculum / Inclusive and Culturally Responsive Curriculum

Workshop Series developed and facilitated by:

  • Miriam Abelson
  • Ann Curry-Stevens
