Partnerships & Collaboration for a Sustainable Future

A sustainable future requires more than simply technical solutions to problems such as global warming, reliance on fossil fuels, or poverty. A sustainable future requires an investment in relationships. These relationships endow our society with the resilience to adapt as our economic, environmental, and social conditions change.

Join us for an engaging discussion with three local leaders in sustainable planning. They will discuss how investments in long-term collaborative relationships lead to innovation and resilience in responding to our economic, environmental, and social challenges. What are the elements of robust partnerships that can withstand the uncertainties inherent in addressing the future? Various case studies will be discussed that focus on collaboration including how the best policies and projects must have a broad coalition of support, technical knowledge, and communication expertise to succeed.
