Portland State quarterback Drew Hubel has been named to the ESPN Academic All-District 8 team for Division I for his performance on the football field and in the classroom.

A three-time Big Sky Conference Player of the Week, Hubel has also been named Academic All-Conference the past two seasons. Last season, he also earned the Mike Schrunk Award, honoring the Viking football team's scholar athlete of the year.
