Arturo Garcia has a passion for mathematics and cannot imagine a higher calling than being a teacher in the K-12 system. He recently obtained his bachelor's degree in mathematics and is currently earning a Masters of Science in Teaching and a second graduate degree in Statistics. Arturo strongly believes that it is crucial to reach out and provide support to underrepresented students because, in many cases, these students just need an inspirational role model to encourage them. He hopes by becoming a teacher he can be that role model needed by so many young students.
