Tina Anctil, PhD, CRC, LPC, is an assistant professor in counselor education. She obtained her PhD in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to her academic work, she was a vocational rehabilitation counselor and a child and family therapist. She has recently worked for WashingtonStateUniversity as a coordinator of the school counseling program and regularly consulted with schools engaged in school reform and school counselor accountability.
Her research and scholarship focus is on career development for children and adolescents from underrepresented groups. These include children in foster care, persons with disabilities, and racially and ethnically diverse populations. Dr. Anctil conducts research on the relationship between career development, academic achievement, and adult outcomes.
