Marital, Couple and Family Counseling Graduate Certificate
Welcome
Every mental health/human services professional finds themselves working with couples and families at some point in their careers. This may involve working directly with the couple or family or indirectly with an individual whose primary issues are couple or family related. Working with couples and families is very different from working with individuals. The dynamics of the relationships are complex and require a systems approach to understanding and intervening. Many traditional mental health graduate programs do not address these issues and special training is needed.
PSU can help you develop the knowledge base and skills vital to helping your clients with couples and family concerns. Explore the courses and certificate information on this website and contact us for more information.
