Bio
Dr. J. David Kennamer specializes in the area of mass communication, particularly political communication, public opinion and journalism, as well as communication ethics. His Ph.D is from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with other degrees from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, which is also his home town. He has published articles in Journalism Quarterly, Journal of Mass Media Ethics, and Communication Research, among others is the editor of a book, Public Opinion, the Press and Public Policy, and spent a semester on a Fulbright Fellowship, teaching in Argentina. He teaches a wide variety of courses in the Communication Department’s undergraduate curriculum and also has professional experience in print journalism, public relations, and applied survey research and opinion polling.
