In-Person Celebrations for 2020 and 2021 Alumni

Portland State is pleased to invite ’20 and ’21 PSU alumni to special celebrations as part of this spring’s combined commencement ceremonies at Providence Park. All ’20 and ’21 alumni will have access to a special seating area at Providence Park, enjoy complimentary refreshments, and be recognized alongside other ’20 and ’21 alumni as part of the 2022 combined commencement ceremonies.

Important ticketing update

We know many of you have experienced problems getting your SeatGeek tickets for this weekend’s ceremonies.  We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused many of you.

If you have not received your ticket transfer from SeatGeek or are having any other problems with your tickets, the Providence Park Box Office will be open two hours before each ceremony to distribute printed tickets to anyone with proof of purchase or reservation.

Since ’20 and ’21 alumni have already received their diplomas, they will not need to wear regalia nor will they walk across the stage to receive their diplomas.

Alumni who graduated in ’20 and ’21 may attend any of the three celebrations at the combined commencement ceremonies hosted this spring. They include:

  • Saturday, June 11, 2022, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. — The School of Business and College of Education
  • Sunday, June 12, 2022, 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. — Professional Schools, including College of Urban and Public Affairs, Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science, School of Public Health and School of Social Work
  • Sunday, June 12, 2022, 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. — College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

While alumni may wish to attend the celebration at the commencement ceremony of their school or college, they are not required to do so.  Alumni may choose to attend any of the three events.  College of the Arts alumni are welcome to attend any of the celebrations.

Alumni may get one free ticket to the ceremony of their choice, as well as up to two free tickets for family and friends to join them.
