Arts and Letters Degree Offerings

Bachelors degrees and minors are available in Applied Linguistics, Communication Studies, English, Foreign Languages and Literatures, History, Philosophy, and Speech and Hearing Sciences.

In addition, there are both General Studies (Arts and Letters concentration) and Liberal Studies bachelor degree programs, and a Film Studies minor through the English department. General Studies Arts and Letters major and an English minor may be completed evenings and weekends.

Masters degrees are offered in Communication (MA, MS), English (MA, MAT), Foreign Languages and Literature (MA, MAT), General Social Sciences (MAT, MST), History (MA), and Speech and Hearing Sciences (MA, MS).

Certificates are awarded by the Foreign Languages and Literatures department in both Teaching English as a Foreign Language and Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language.
