Tom Debley, author of the book: Dr. Sidney Garfield: The Visionary who Turned Sick Care into Health Care; will show rare photographs and read from his latest book on how a meeting between Edgar Kaiser and Dr. Garfield in Portland's Multnomah Hotel led to the founding of what is now the Kaiser Permanente Health Care System.
