The Pacific Northwest International Section of AWMA aims to promote global environmental responsibility and enhance the expertise by providing a neutral forum for information exchange, professional development, networking opportunities, public education, and outreach to more than 5,000 environmental professionals in 65 countries.

The American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists® is a non-profit organization serving the Environmental Engineering and Environmental Science professions by managing board certification, training members through workshops and seminars, publishing reference material for students and young professionals, and more!

The American Society of Civil Engineers is the oldest national professional engineering society in the United States; the Oregon Section has four student chapters, two branches, three technical groups, and a Younger Member Forum. ASCE-OR provides training, networking, and ample opportunities for students and professionals alike.

APWA Oregon Chapter is an association of more than 800 professional engineers, technicians, operations staff, public works directors, business people, contractors, consultants and more who join together to exchange ideas and information, promote education and training, and work as a team to meet professional and community needs.

The Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association fosters a network of professionals to provide opportunities and leadership to the water industry in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington - specifically in the areas of water quality and distribution, water resource policy, conservation, and engineering. 

DFI is an international association of professionals in the deep foundations industry. They provide their more than 3,500 committed members with networking, education, communication and collaboration to create a common vision for continual improvement in the planning, design and construction of deep foundations and excavations.

EWB-Portland is a group of professionals committed to building a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. Our volunteers include architects, engineers, health professionals, media specialists, teachers, and more.

ITE is an international membership association of transportation professionals who work to improve mobility and safety for all transportation system users and help build smart and livable communities. Through its many products and services, ITE aims to support education and be a conduit for the exchange of professional information.

NSBE's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. NSBE envisions a world in which all Black students can see themselves as engineers, and where engineering is a mainstream word in homes and communities of color.

Founded in 1992, NWAEP is a nonpolitical interdisciplinary organization made up of professionals in Washington and Oregon. Their members include a wide range of environmental professions: environmental management, planning, impact assessment, environmental protection, compliance, research, engineering, design, and education.

PNCWA, as part of the Water Environment Federation (WEF), is a vibrant community dedicated to education, dissemination of technical and scientific information, increased public understanding, and promotion of sound public laws and programs in the water resources and related environmental fields in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.

SHPE Oregon is a professional organization creating a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians and engineers. Their mission is to change lives by empowering the Hispanic community to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, networking, and development.

The Columbia River Section of SWE serves members from the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area and beyond. Heralding from many different disciplines of engineering, SWE focuses on development, outreach, visibility, and membership to encourage women engineers from diverse backgrounds to attain high levels of professional achievement.

SWANA is an organization of more than 10,000 public and private sector professionals committed to advancing from solid waste management to resource management through their shared emphasis on education, advocacy and research. They serve industry professionals through technical conferences, certifications, publications, and trainings.

SEAO is dedicated to encouraging, developing, and maintaining the integrity of the structural engineering profession. Their primary purpose is education of the community-at-large as well as their over 500 professional members, and providing a forum for structural engineers in Oregon to interact and improve their knowledge and skills.
