Initial Licensure

Successful completion of these programs culminates in a recommendation to Oregon's Teacher Standards and Practices Commision for the Initial Teaching License, and the option of completing a Master's of Education degree.

The following options are available for people interested in working toward their Initial Teaching License:

• Full-time GTEP (1 year - early childhood, elementary, middle school or high school)
• Part-time GTEP (2 year - early childhood, elementary, middle school or high school)
• Bilingual Teacher Pathways for bi-lingual/bi-cultural individuals
• Inclusive Educators Program (Dual Elementary & Special Education Licensure)
• Secondary Dual Educator Program: Special and General Education (SDEP)
  
• International Teacher Education Program (ITEP) for people who have teaching licenses from other countries
