Application & Admission


You must complete two separate applications as part of the process of applying to ITEP:

Step 1: PSU Admission

Apply for graduate admissions to Portland State University by applying either online through the Admissions Office web site or completing a paper version of the application form (PDF) and mailing it to the Admissions office.

PSU Admissions Requirements

  • Passing score for TOEFL Exam (if program was not in English) www.ets.org/toefl
  • PSU Application
  • International Admissions evaluation of Bachelor's degree equivalent
  • Official transcripts in a sealed envelope from all institutions
  • English translation of all transcripts
  • Diploma in original language and English translation

Step 2: ITEP (Departmental) Admission

  • Personal Statement
  • Resume
