Congratulations to Dr. David Peyton on being awarded the 5^th Annual Outstanding Chemistry Researcher Award, given by the Columbia-Willamette Chapter of Sigma Xi.  Dr. Peyton was chosen by a panel of judges based on his outstanding record with regards to publications, external funding, presentations at meetings, and mentorship to graduate students.  The award will be presented to Dr. Peyton at the annual meeting and banquet on May 17^th in the Smith Center at Portland State University; the meeting will also feature a reception, dinner, and a lecture given by Sigma Xi National Lecturer Dr. Robert Strongin.
