NAEYC Annual Conference - CEU Information and Requirements
A CEU is a nationally recognized academic unit of measure for noncredit activities. One CEU is equivalent to 10 clock/contact hours. Two CEUs are equivalent to 20 clock/contact hours. CEUs are available to conference participants. CEUs are transcripted through Portland State University's School of Extended Studies.
The CEU fee is $25 for either one or two CEUs. This includes the fee for one initial transcript. After Oct. 22, 2011, or at the Annual Conference, the fee increases to $35. Additional transcripts are $5 each.
To earn CEUs students must:

- Attend the conference (either 10 hours for 1 CEU or 20 hours for 2 CEUs)
- Complete the short documentation form within three weeks of attending the annual conference, Nov. 27, 2011.
- CEU transcripts will be distributed to all pre-registered participants (Oct. 22) on-site at the PSU table the last day of the conference. On-site registrants' CEU transcripts are mailed to students within four to six weeks of completing the evaluation.
