Added Elementary Authorization

Welcome

The Added Elementary is an innovative four-term program beginning in summer and ending the following spring. The program is designed for licensed specialty or secondary teachers who are looking to retool in order to fill multiple roles or change their positions.

Four-term cohort format
Network more effectively by participating with colleagues throughout the entire curriculum as a cohort.

Practical, mentored experience
Supervised field experiences are completed within the age and grade ranges specified in the desired authorization levels.

Expanded skills
Program completers will have earned an authorization in either early childhood or elementary - or both levels - in the regular classroom. All credits apply to the master’s degree, leaving just a couple of remaining elective courses.
