Fundamentals of Engineering Review Course

This review course is designed for those who have earned (or are within months of earning) their Bachelor degree in Engineering and are preparing to take the Fundamental of Engineering certification test administered by the Oregon State Board of Examiners (www.osbeels.org). This non-credit course is offered once per year in the winter term as preparation for the April test.
Professional Engineers Review Course

Offered Winter term 2012 - Tuesdays 6:40p to 9:30p - Engineering Building, Room 310
Course fee = $250; no book for this course. Course materials will be available on Desire2Learn (D2L). Log in to D2L here using your PSU login information. More information about how to use D2L can be found here.
This review course is designed for those who have been working in the field for a while and wish to pursue a professional licence. The test is administered by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (www.ncees.org). This non-credit course is offered once per year in the winter term as preparation for the April test.

Once you have logged into the PSU Information System to register for either of these classes, please follow this path:
Registration Menu >click the Add/Drop Classes link > enter the respective CRN number listed below. DO NOT use the first suggested path for registration under the Choose Courses heading to register for this course.
The course numbers (crn) are not searchable on the system so you will need to keep these handy when you are registering:

Special Topic Graduate Courses
Post-baccelaurate students may enroll in 500 and 600 level courses with the permission of the department chair. Please see the schedule of courses for current offerings. Students not currently admitted to PSU will need to apply for postbaccalaureate admission.

CE-QUAL-W2 Water Quality and Hydrodynamic Modeling Workshop
Dr. Scott Wells and his research group conduct a yearly workshop on the CE-QUAL-W2 model. Information about this model is found at http://www.cee.pdx.edu/w2. This popular workshop draws many water quality working professionals from the Northwest and throughout the US. Participants have also included individuals from South Africa, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.
