Sean Kohles, Mechanical and Materials Engineering faculty, was recently recognized by the board of directors for the Biomedical Engineering Society for his service as an associate editor for the Annals of Biomedical Engineering. This recognition was included in the recent acknowledgment publication, "Outstanding Reviewers and Associate Editors for 2010," published by Annals of Biomedical Engineering, Vol. 39, No. 2, 2011. He was cited as one of two associate editors with "exceptional past and current contributions." Annals of Biomedical Engineering is the flagship journal for the Biomedical Engineering Society. In 2010, the editorial board coordinated 2,061 reviews, and Kohles has managed over 350 articles since 2002.
