David Sailor contributes module to energy software
David Sailor, Mechanical and Materials
Engineering faculty, developed a green roof simulation module that is
incorporated in EnergyPlus, a cutting-edge building energy simulation software
recently released by the Department of Energy. Using the software tool,
architects and energy analysts can explore the energy consumption implications
of various green roof design decisions.
