David Sailor and Graig Spolek receive U.S. Green Building and Oregon BEST grants
David Sailor and Graig Spolek, Mechanical
and Materials Engineering faculty, received a $149,500 grant from the U.S.
Green Building Council and a matching grant of $75,000 from Oregon BEST for
research leading to the development of a green roof energy savings calculator.
The research also involves collaboration with colleagues at University of Toronto
and the trade organization Green Roofs for Healthy Cities.
