Christof Teuscher presents 'A Modern Perspective on Turing's Unorganized Machines'
Christof Teuscher, Engineering and Computer Science faculty, gave an invited keynote presentation at Computing 2011, a symposium devoted to the 75th anniversary of the Turing Machine and Lambda-Calculus. The symposium was held in Karlsruhe, Germany, Oct 20-21, and paved the way to the 2012 Alan Turing Year. Teuscher's talk entitled "A Modern Perspective on Turing's Unorganized Machines" started with Turing's long-forgotten connectionist ideas that led to today's emerging molecular and nano-scale computers.
