2004 Academy of Distinguished Alumni Induction Ceremony

The PSU Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science inducted two new members into its Academy of Distinguished Alumni on Friday, November 19, 2004. These graduates have excelled in the field of engineering and computer science, served their profession and the community, and given recognition to PSU.

 

Ross A. Lisle

Mr. Ross Lisle has held positions of increasing responsibility at NW Natural for the past 28 years, leading to his present position as project manager of the Pipeline Integrity Project. He is a member and past state chair of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and a member of both the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Western Energy Institute (WEI). Mr. Lisle serves on the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board as well as the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering Advisory Board, of which he is a founding member. Through the years, Ross Lisle has advised senior Capstone students and recruited and mentored numerous PSU graduates.

Dr. Maseeh is the founder and former president and CEO of IntelliSense Corporation, which began the first custom design, development, and manufacture of next-generation micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS). IntelliSense Corporation was twice named to both The New England Technology Fast 50 and The Forbes Fast 50. Dr. Maseeh is founder and president of The Massiah Foundation, which made the largest gift in PSU's history—$8 million to the College of Engineering and Computer Science. With this gift the college has become the Fariborz Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science. Dr. Maseeh was recently elected to the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science Advisory Board.

Dr Fariborz Maseeh, through The Massiah Foundation, contributes numerous charitable gifts in the areas of education, health, the arts, literature, and science.
