Notes:

  • Our surveys have shown that a large number of new CWW students plan to start taking classes in the fall. Along with math and science classes, we offer beginning ECE and CS classes in the fall to get people started. In later terms, these students combined with the students who have already successfully completed these classes should give a large enough cohort of students to support the more advanced ECE and CS classes that will be offered then. We are very committed to the CWW programs. Therefore, we attempt to strategically schedule class offerings so that once a student starts a program, the classes will be available for he/she to finish the program. Note that PCC will continue offering CWW compatible math and science classes as long as these classes have sufficient enrollment.

  • At this point, we are offering classes only in Washington County because the majority of the CWW students work there. If the former Fujitsu plant goes into operation and the situation improves in East Multnomah County, we will again try to offer ECE and CS classes at the Maywood Center in East County. In the meantime, the Washington County classes are easily accessible from the 185th Avenue MAX stop so, if you live/work in East County, you might consider commuting via MAX/bus to get a class not offered near your home this term.

  • The PCC classes are at the Rock Creek Campus, 17705 N.W. Springville Road. Map and other information on the web at http://www.pcc.edu.

  • Classes identified as WCWFTC take place at the Washington County Workforce Training Center in the CAPITAL Center at 185th and Walker Road.

  • PSU classes identified as WstvwHS meet in Westview High School, 4200 N.W. 185th Avenue, just north of Sunset Highway.

  • Course catalog descriptions for all courses can be found in the PSU General Catalog at http://www.ess.pdx.edu/adm/sched.

  • Please see the Registration Instructions section of this Web site for the details of how to register for PSU and for PCC classes.
